These terms govern your use of the web dashboards operated by Power Payment Solutions Inc. ("Power Payment", "we", "us") at powerpayment.net and powerpayment.ca, and your enrolment in our notification programs. By signing in to a dashboard, you agree to these terms.
Our dashboards are private business tools. They are not open to the general public. Accounts are created by invitation only, and are limited to sales agents under contract with Power Payment Solutions Inc. and to our internal staff.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and must not be shared. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
We may suspend or terminate access to an account that violates these terms, or when the underlying business relationship ends.
Power Payment Solutions operates a transactional text messaging program for its sales agents. The following terms apply to that program.
Program description. We send operational account notifications about your own merchant portfolio. The primary alert notifies you when the monthly processing volume of one of your merchants drops significantly compared with the previous month. These messages are transactional. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How to opt in. Enrolment is entirely voluntary and is done by you, in your own password-protected dashboard. In the Notifications tab, you enter your mobile number and check the box labelled "Text me". The box is unchecked by default; no message is ever sent unless you check it yourself. We never add a number on your behalf. The consent form is reproduced in full, with its disclosures, on our SMS opt-in form page.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on activity in your merchant portfolio. Most recipients receive no more than a few messages per month, and in many months none at all.
Sample message.
To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation, and no further messages will be sent to that number. You may also uncheck "Text me" or delete your phone number in the Notifications tab of your dashboard.
For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at info@powerpayment.ca.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to any message you send or receive.
Opting out of text messages does not affect your email notifications or your access to the dashboard. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
You may also choose to receive the same alerts by email, at the address you specify in the Notifications tab. You may change that address or turn the alerts off at any time from the same screen. Certain administrative and account-related emails may still be sent to you as part of the operation of your account.
Commission figures, processing volumes and merchant data shown in the dashboards are provided for information and are derived from monthly statements supplied by our processing partners. Amounts may be adjusted following reconciliation. In the event of a discrepancy, the official settlement records of Power Payment Solutions Inc. and the terms of your agent agreement prevail over anything displayed in a dashboard or sent in a notification.
We aim to keep the dashboards available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Access may be suspended for maintenance, or interrupted by circumstances beyond our control. Notifications are delivered on a best-effort basis and should not be relied upon as the sole means of monitoring your portfolio.
To the extent permitted by law, Power Payment Solutions Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the dashboards or the notification programs, including any message that is delayed, undelivered, or delivered in error.
Our handling of personal information, including mobile phone numbers, is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of the dashboards after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.
